Vintage By Nature.

About our site

What Makes Coed Y Graig a special space?:
Vintage by nature
Stay in a vintage Caravan with 2 acres of woodland to explore and call your own.
Equally suited as a romantic break for two or for families to relax, laugh and play
It’s a special place that allows families to come together and also find some quiet time alone if they wish.
Parents can allow their children to experience a childhood, possibly more akin to their own where children can run free, explore and build dens without any worry as to whom they may meet. Though the Adults may wish to re-live their childhood themselves.
I look forward to exploring all the new dens at the end of the season. Firewood is provided but guests are welcome to collect their own from the woodland floor.
‘Blodwen’ the vintage caravan is a 1977 Lunar Clubman and despite being in excellent original condition is the last of its model in existence. It has electric lighting but also a gas lamp that has been
certified as safe to use. It has a large waterproof Canopy with plenty of space for alfresco dining.
I hope the vintage retro theme, whilst aesthetically pleasing, will evoke reminiscing  ‘we had thos’
or ‘My Nan had one just like that’
The bathroom is a converted shepherds hut and houses a shower, 1950’s sink and WC with a centre piece double ended roll top bath – vintage glam with rustic charm.
Just a short walk into the woodland is a camp where you can cook on an open fire or on wet days, cook in the tent that is kitted out with a retro themed camp kitchen. There are also hammocks and a
picnic table. There will be a wood fired hot tub but is likely to be new for 2021
Being in a rural area of Anglesey we have stunning dark skies that are perfect for stargazing. Anglesey dark skies run stargazing and astrophotography events on the island.
The woodland has an abundance of wildlife including foxes, rabbits, hedgehogs Pheasants, butterflies and lots of wild birds. The buzzards nest can be seen from the camp where at least one chick is raised every year. It is well worth getting up early to hear the dawn chorus. Glyn, the cockrel will join the dawn chorus and his hens will provide a few fresh eggs for you to
collect yourself from the nesting box.
